Just Another Normal Day

Didn’t get a chance to write yesterday. Youngest Child needed Dental surgery at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh yesterday. Any day involving surgery is high stress, but man did the folks there make it so easy yesterday?

While hanging out and waiting I went through and harden’d the code for all the PANDA modules. I’ve also interegrated “ENABLE_BLAH” options in the database side option table. This will allow other sites to disable some of the crazier things I’ve built thats outside of the core channel. I also did some really nice UI changes for the overall themes avilable to everyone. The other changes to the PANDA modules was to ensure that the Help Desk Cordinators can see the part usage/charges they have been submitting for months.

Back onsite today though. You know the hardest part about being onsite is the phone and walk ins. You can get focused, have all the windows open you need for what you think you want to get done today, and then it happens… A call or a walkin. Just takes a minute… but then you go back to what you were working on and just feel lost… Like what was I thinking here? When I was always onsite this didn’t bother me much but since coming off of FMLA I’m definately a lot more sensitive to this then I used to be.
